Pindara Private Hospital - Benowa
Established in 1971, Pindara Private Hospital serves as an acute medical, surgical and maternity hospital for the northern end of the Gold Coast. In order to meet the growing population in the area, this project involved substantial extensions and retrofitting of existing areas, as well as the introduction of modern architecture to improve its appearance and ultimately become a leading health services hub.
The planning application process involved consultation with the surrounding stakeholders, as well as detailed analysis of parking and servicing requirements within a built-up area. Another key factor during the re-construction was ensuring it would be undertaken in a manner which would minimise its impact upon its patients and visitors.
