Paul Creighton

Urban Designer

Paul joined Gassman Development Perspectives as an urban designer in early 2012, his role within the team utilises both his urban design and planning background to produce quality designs that augment the built environment.

Paul holds both a first class honours degree in spatial planning from the Dublin Institute of Technology and an honours masters degree in urban design from Oxford Brookes University.

Prior to moving to Australia Paul worked as consultant planner in Ireland, working on projects including community and civic infrastructure audits, the preparation of large planning applications, statutory document drafting and development feasibility studies.

Preceding his time in GDP Paul worked as an urban designer in Brisbane helping to create preliminary conceptualisations, feasibility analysis, including illustrating opportunities and constraints, detailed design, production of urban design documents utilising both textual and illustrative description.

The utilisation of GIS applications has been a strong element of Paul’s work, specifically in relation to the collection and representation of baseline data information to inform strategies for development.
