David Hansen

Director

With over 14 years experience as a planner with Local Government and in private practice, David has been with Gassman Development Perspectives since 1997, and a Director of the firm since 2009.

David is responsible for the provision and coordination of all planning and environmental services performed by the firm across numerous Local Authority areas in Queensland and other Australian States.

He has been involved in numerous major projects, including large scale industrial and extractive industry operations, public utility infrastructure, land subdivisions and mixed use developments.

David is currently Vice President of the Queensland Branch of the Planning Institute of Australia, and is accredited as a Certified Practicing Planner.

He is also a member of the Regional Development Australia (RDA) Brisbane Committee. RDA is a partnership between the Australian, state, territory and local governments to grow and strengthen the nation’s regions, and ensure their long-term sustainability.
