Chris Austin

Town Planner

Chris joined the team in 2007 as a Student Town Planner whilst completing his Undergraduate Degree. In 2009 Chris graduated Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor in Urban Development - Urban and Regional Planning with Honours, and dual minors in Applications and Industrial Design. Chris is also a member of the Planning Institute of Australia.


His primary tasks have included the preparation of advice for clients, the submittal and management of development applications to Council for a variety of different projects, and the completion of strategic development reporting.


In addition to his work with GDP, Chris also has local government experience, working with Moreton Bay Regional Council in their Private Certification Team in 2010 on a contract basis.
