High-Rise Offices - Beenleigh
A key landmark for the Beenleigh Town Centre, the Exchange is a new six-storey commercial and office tower on City Road. It incorporates parking on both ground and basement levels, with access via a rear laneway. This arrangement allowed extensive landscaping along the City Road frontage for enhancing visual amenity and streetscape, as well as communal open space for employees and visitors.
The planning application was required to address a number of challenges regarding the height, appearance and setbacks of the development as it was of a larger scale in comparison to the surrounding fabric.
